Porsche Cayman R

Along with the distinguishing spoiler lips in the front apron Cayman R delivers a sporty performance.

The rear end also comes with a black twin tailpipe which acts contrast to the entire body.

The exterior mirrors of the Cayman R in contrast color gives it a more pleasing look.

Cayman R is considered as a lightweight car because of the aluminum doors.

The body has been lowered by 0.79 inches (20 mm) and a retuned sport suspension provides uncompromising proximity to the road.

The Cayman R delivers 10 hp more powerful than the Cayman S.

The light-alloy 3.4-liter horizontally opposed cylinder engine produces 330 hp at 7,400 rpm. Maximum torque is 273 lb.-ft. (370 Nm) at 4,750 rpm.

The top track speed is 175 mph (282 km/h). Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is completed in 4.7 seconds which is 0.2 seconds faster than the Cayman S.

With PDK, the Cayman R completes the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.6 seconds.

To improve acceleration from 0.2 seconds to 4.4 seconds, Porsche offers an optional Sport Chrono Package which, when combined with Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), offers the "Launch Control" function.
